A LITTLE about us
Our Organization runs various outreach programs for which ongoing funding is needed. We buy food for 160 underprivileged children on a daily basis. For most of these children, the food they get at school, is the only meal they have for the day. We also buy school clothes and shoes for those that requires it. We take them on outings throughout the year. Their Christmas parties are the highlight of the year. We try to motivate children to do well at school by spoiling the top 25 students every year with wonderful outings. Food parcels are given to 12 households once a month. We prepare and distribute food parcels to underprivileged and sick pensioners whose only means of income is a small Government pension.
We opened an After care centre in Powertown, a rural development in Mosselbay. Here we help 18 kids with their homework, give them a healthy home cooked meal every day, and will have outdoor activities this year. We started vegetable gardens to teach them how to become self sustainable, which they also started at their own homes.
